A house of dreamers
Dreamlane is an independent production house making feature films and short films with cinematic ambition and an unmistakably Indian soul.
We started Dreamlane with a simple belief: the most local stories make the most universal films.
Dreamlane began with a group of filmmakers who loved Indian cinema in all its forms: the parallel cinema of the 70s, the regional new waves and the bold independents of today. We wanted to build a home where those traditions could meet.
Today we develop, produce and distribute films across languages and formats. We partner with first-time directors and seasoned auteurs, and with studios, streamers and festivals in India and abroad.
Every project starts the same way: with a story we can’t stop thinking about.

Casting, location scouting across India, production design, scheduling and budgeting — every frame is planned before the camera rolls.

Experienced crews, cinema-grade cameras and an obsessive eye for craft. On set, we protect the director's vision and the actors' truth.

Edit, colour, VFX, sound design and score — shaped in-house with trusted collaborators until the film feels inevitable.
